If the selected item is an application or desk accessory, click here to launch it. If a Paint, PICT or Text file .. view it. If an FKEY or Sound file..sample it. Disabled if no APPL, DFIL, dfil, Paint, PICT, sfil or FKEY file selected.



Click here to invoke a dialog to change the selected file's name, type, creator and attributes. Disabled if item selected is not a file .. or nothing selected from the list.

Click here to have the selected file or folder placed in the trash. The selected item will not be deleted until you select "Empty Trash" from the Finder's Special menu. Disabled if busy or nothing selected.

Click here or hit Enter or Return keys to commence search. Disabled if nothing entered in the edit field while in name or creator search mode.
